The Artist Queensie Lee, was born in the 80s in Benin City Nigeria, she a Brussels based Nigerian R&B recording artist.,A singer, dancer song writer. The Artist Queensie Lee moved to Belgium in 2005 to pursue a recording and showbiz career., She started singing at the age of 14 and actually wrote two songs at that age which never got anywhere. She derived early childhood inspiration from a Nigerian TV live show called Beat and laugh which featured in the 90s and discovered her flair for showbiz from then on.
While in Brussels, Belgium, she had her first TV auditioning in 2007 at kortrijk city for the programme called kunstebende. In 2007 Queensie Lee became part of a music group called mentorx. They released there first singles called Shake your Boogie, / My Love, in 2009 which was played foue times on radio stations in Nigeria. In 2010 Queensie Lee went solo.
She has also made appearances and performed at several shows such as the Timaya show, Antwerpen in 2008 and Miss Africa 2008 in Antwerpen as well. In 2009 she performed at Miss Africa 2009 in Brussels; African Stage 2009 in Antwerpen and So you think you can shake, in Steenokkerzeel, Belgium. In 2010, she had an exceptional performance at Nite of a thousand laffs with Fiddy-Ice and Friends. This year in February she performed at O.Z Murphy's Cafe in Antwerpen in february; Laughter On The Loose with I GO DIE and I GO SAVE, Fiddy-Ice and Friends in April and at Triple J. Entertainment in June in Antwerpen and also at Emotional Summer Groove held in Kortrijk, Belgium
Dontom was born Dontom Emmanuel Etuk to the family of mr Etuk Tom Udoadiah on the 23rd October 1984.DONTOM who hail from Onna in akwa ibom state nigeria attainded his primary education at QIC primary school usong inyang eket, eket. Then proceeded to high school at owoahiafor comprehensive high school aba. abia state. Dontom read mass communication at the now Cross River University Of Technology,Calabar, before moving to the institute of management and technology IMT Enugu where he aquired the higher national diploma (HND).
During his college days Dontom joined a gospel group called The BLESSERS which became very famous around 2002/2003. He then went solo in 2005 as an R’n’B/GOSPEL singer. Dontom became very popular around 2005/2006 in different campuses in enugu as a performer, singing mostly rkelly’s gospel songs in campuses and church concert, He then decided to do music professionally, in 2007, during his national youth service corp, He recorded and release his fisrt single, titled ONE DAY, ONE DAY became a popular hit in akure where he was serving,.
After his service year in 2008, Dontom returned to Enugu and got a job with a south east based advertising agency known as saphia advertising..Then in the late 2008 he resigned from the job and recorded a new single titled putuputu nofe a hiplife with an ibo chorus. The song putuputu nofe which is the boiling sound of an African soup acquired lots of acceptance but didn’t spread nationwide then due to lack of promotion. In 2009 Dontom singned an album contacts with 3;16 entertainment who recorded and dropped the putuputu album in October of the same year.. the album became a huge success with hit singles putuputu, my wifey, and don’t walk away. Then in july 2010 dontom signed a contract with snowmanac international, who now reloaded the album and added some new tracks like suwannu putuputu (putuputu swagger). the song putuputu became a massive hit nationwide, it was then followed by ‘my wifey’ which hit the international market drawing him to a lot of shows and concerts within and outside Nigeria.
Dontom has performed in almost every state in Nigeria, Ghana. The song my wifey is very popular amongst the francophone Africa, During the xmas holiday he toured most of the major cities of cameroun. Currently Dontom is working on his second album an international album set to be released in the united states in the month of August 2011.. Dontom was named African voice on chanel O following his skills on the collaboration diamond dream, and has been booked to perform in south Africa in the easter 2011.
